How Your Details Are Used

Last updated 1 October 2026

This site belongs to Hannah Gilbert, a personal trainer in Somerset. It collects as little as it can.

What is collected

If you send an enquiry, the form asks for your name, your email address and a few words about what you are working towards. That is all. There is no account to create and no health information is requested at this stage.

The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other websites.

Why, and on what basis

Your details are used for one thing: so Hannah can read your enquiry and reply to it. In data-protection terms this is a step taken at your request before any agreement, and otherwise Hannah’s legitimate interest in answering the people who write to her.

Who sees it

Hannah, and nobody else. The site runs on services that process the data on her behalf — Vercel (hosting), Neon (database) and Resend (email delivery) — under contracts that restrict them to that. Nothing is sold or passed to anyone for marketing.

How long it is kept

An enquiry is kept while it is being answered and for up to twelve months afterwards, so a conversation can be picked up again. If you become a client, your details move into your own client area, which has its own notice.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@hannahgilbert.com and it will be done. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
